When many people think of Hawaii, they think of a far away island where palm trees have always grown, that is VERY wrong. The Hawaiian Islands were formed millions of years ago by volcanoes under water. They slowly erupted, forming over 100 islands, but there is only 7 main islands, and all others are to small for people to live on, some only have only one or two palm trees on them!
