Washington State

Washington State Facts

Explore an 896,599-acre national park, eat a lot of ruby apples, and watch tons of murals be painted all here in Washington. In this Pacific Coast state a rainforest appears. On the Washington State Peninsula has one of the only rainforests in the U.S.A. Mount St. Helens may bring back the May 1980 explosion, but others may just see a beautiful mountain. Richmond, WA is home to Microsoft, and its creator, Bill Gates. Can you think of any other state that is named after a president? That’s because there is none, Washington is the only state named after the president George Washington. This state is quite like George Washington’s childhood, with the top apple producing numbers, and a lot of farming. Enjoy either the city of Seattle, or the wonderful things outdoors, but whatever you do Washington is the place to do it in.
